First of all, don’t forget to take your turkey out of the freezer to defrost a few days ahead of Thanksgiving.  That is the important first step!

Steve has been smoking the family turkey dinner each year for quite some time.  He has tried different methods and recipes.  Below is the one that he is using now.  This year he is going to use the below Brine recipe and also he is going to use this method – Spatchcock the Turkey.

It is also fun and delicious to make your side dishes on the grill.  One of our family favorites is our smoked mac and cheese.

Shown is the recipe he uses for brined smoked turkey, along with the Smoked Mac & Cheese.
