What Changed and Why It Matters
In late 2025, Chips Unlimited — the company behind many of the color blends used in the garage floor coating industry — was acquired by Torginol and eventually closed its product line. That meant our supplier, Slide-Lok, had a decision to make: settle for whatever came next, or take the opportunity to build something better.
They chose better.
Over the past six months, Slide-Lok worked extensively to evaluate, match, refine, and completely reorganize their color blend program from the ground up. The goal was straightforward: keep the blends customers already know and love, eliminate the overlap, fill in the gaps, and create a cleaner, more comprehensive collection built for the long haul.
The result is 40 Signature Blends — organized into cohesive color collections, with glitter and mica enhancement options that open up even more possibilities.
