This 1,885-square-foot shop in Alma, Colorado needed more than a color change—it needed a serious concrete refresh. Our solution – Custom Polyaspartic Floor Coating. 

The slab had widespread cracking, so our first priority was structural cosmetic repair and getting the surface ready for a long-lasting coating.

The owner wanted a clean, professional look that could handle vehicle traffic, shop work, and mountain weather without constant maintenance, so we specified a custom mocha pigment polyaspartic system with a complementary flake blend.

Preparation drove the outcome. We chased and cleaned the cracks, filled them as needed, and addressed spalls and minor uneven areas. We performed diamond grinding to open the concrete and create an ideal profile for adhesion, then vacuumed thoroughly.

The coating build included a pigmented polyaspartic base and top coat in custom mocha, with a full broadcast of flake in between for uniform texture and coverage. 

The finished floor delivers both performance and a cohesive look. The mocha pigment provides a warm, professional tone, while the flake adds light texture for better traction and helps visually blend the repaired areas.

Polyaspartic’s UV stability and chemical resistance are well-suited to high-altitude Colorado conditions, standing up to sun, road salts, oils, and freeze–thaw cycles. The result is a tough, low-maintenance surface that elevates the workspace and protects the concrete for years to come.
