Use of Floor Limitations

Consistent with our 16-year quality standard, please observe these cure times:

6 HOURS Tack Free
12 HOURS Light Foot Traffic
24 HOURS Re-engage Garage Door
48 HOURS Full Vehicle Traffic

*Note: If temperatures are below freezing, please allow an additional 24 hours to ensure all 3 layers are fully set.

Regular Cleaning

Because our system bonds directly with the concrete, dirt and fluids stay on the surface. Maintenance is fast and simple.

  • Weekly: A simple sweep or leaf blower.
  • Heavy Dirt: Hose down and use a rubber squeegee.
  • Spills: Wipe up oil or chemicals with a dry cloth.

Approved Cleaners

Avoid harsh chemicals that can leave a dulling residue or harm the floor with long-term exposure.

✅ Mild Soap
❌ NO Bleach
✅ Diluted TSP
❌ NO Ammonia
✅ Simple Green
❌ NO Citrus

⚠️ Chemical Exposure Warnings

While polyaspartic is highly resistant, certain chemicals can dull the finish if left sitting for more than a few hours:

• Battery Acid
• Brake Fluid
• Harsh Windshield Washer Fluid

Pro Tip: If battery acid spills, apply baking soda immediately to neutralize the acid before wiping.

Following these simple instructions will give your Slide-Lok floor coating system years of service and keep your garage looking as new as the day we finished it. We are proud to be the premium installer of polyaspartic flooring in the Colorado Springs area, and we stand behind our work.
